The Elizabeth Mission is a welcoming place which offers a range of anti-poverty services, with the aim of supporting people as they regain control of their lives. The Mission can assist with housing advice, legal issues, financial counselling and emergency relief. Our Emergency Assistance program provides short-term food relief, clothing, and prescriptions relief. We also offer referrals to other services and offer a Budget Support Program.
As an Emergency Assistance Interviewer, you are the first point of contact for someone experiencing financial hardship. You will discuss the individual’s position and determine whether they are eligible for our services.
This is a great opportunity for people looking for experience in social work and community services.
